Alexandra Cedrino
Alexandra Cedrino writes historical novels that transport readers to captivating periods of history. Her works are characterized by suspense and meticulous research. Inspired by her passion for literature, art, history, and her own family background, she crafts engaging stories.
Her milestone came with the "Gallery Trilogy." The first volume, "Die Galerie am Potsdamer Platz," will soon be published in English translation. This series narrates the story of an art dealer family in 1930s Berlin, providing deep insight into the art scene of those turbulent times.
Alexandra Cedrino is currently working on a new historical crime novel set in the post-war period at the Central Art Collecting Point (CCP) in Munich. This work uncovers the dark secrets of art theft, cover-ups, denial, and guilt.
Born in Munich, she grew up in her grandfather Wolfgang Gurlitt's gallery, surrounded by pictures and books. After studying illustration, she moved to Berlin, her mother's hometown, with her husband, dog, and two cats. It was there that she began her writing career with the "Gallery Trilogy."
